ARKA Investments is a private equity firm. Rather than buy companies, our first investments went into building two operating businesses from the ground up: a virtual mailbox service and a review-management service for local businesses. Both are live today.
The firm
ARKA Investments LLC is a privately held investment firm based in Knoxville, Tennessee. We deploy our own capital into businesses we control outright, and we stay involved in running them.
Our thesis is simple: there are durable, unglamorous services that small businesses and individuals pay for every month, and most of them are delivered poorly. We would rather own a well-run version of one of those than chase what is fashionable.
To date, that has meant building rather than buying. KeyMail and ReplyMaid were each conceived, funded, and launched inside ARKA. As the portfolio grows, we expect to add acquisitions of established businesses alongside what we build.

Virtual mailbox & mail management
A physical U.S. street address and a digital mailbox. Customers see scans of every envelope, open and read contents on request, forward or consolidate packages, and shred junk, all from the KeyMail app. Fully USPS Form 1583 compliant.
Review housekeeping for local businesses
ReplyMaid watches a business's Google reviews, drafts a reply in the owner's voice, and emails it for one-click approval before posting. Owners get every review answered without writing a word, plus a monthly summary analyzing real customer insights.
Approach
We look for services people already pay for on a schedule, where the incumbent experience is dated and the switching cost is low.
We own our businesses outright so we can make decisions quickly and hold them for as long as they deserve to be held.
Our background is in executing large capital projects on time and on budget. We bring that discipline to small companies that rarely get it.

Ankur founded ARKA Investments in 2025 and currently leads its investment and operating decisions. He founded the firm with a twofold vision:
